Each year at the JDRF Dream Gala, the Seattle Guild presents The Living & Giving Award to an individual, family or company who has made a significant contribution toward JDRF's efforts to find a cure for diabetes.

There is a huge amount of community enthusiasm and excitement surrounding the launch of the new MLS Seattle franchise, Seattle Sounders FC. It's being hailed as the most successful launch of a professional sports franchise in history! So far, over 11,000 season tickets have been sold and the franchise won't put a team on the field until the 2009 season. We are thrilled to honor Seattle Sounders FC for their partnership with the JDRF Seattle Guild.
